Southport Magic Circle

Welcome to our website!

In its present format, the Southport Magic Circle started in November 1985.

The group meets on Mondays every fortnight from 8pm onwards. Each meeting has a theme giving everyone a chance to learn new things. Sometimes a member provides a teach-in on a particular subject. See the Meetings page for more details of what's on and where.

The SMC exists to entertain and inform - we provide the following services to the general public:

* shows for schools, rest homes and charities for all occasions
* 'walkabout magic' at open air events, such as fetes and carnivals
* selling tricks, jokes and puzzles at family fun days
* 'History of Magic' talk that includes performances from SMC members
